Client Services Analyst

We are currently looking to hire a Client Service Analyst to join us in our London office.

The purpose of the role is:

To ensure the effective provision of investment management and funds operations services to Brooks Macdonald Group (BMG). Provide client service support to colleagues within BMG, manage exceptions and resolve issues by working with third party and outsourced service providers as appropriate.

Main responsibilities:

First point of contact for any queries from both front office BMG colleagues and SS&C questions in respect of all investment management and funds operational related processes, including but not limited to:

  • Onboarding – ensuring client documentation includes all information necessary to open an account.
  • Transfers - liaising as necessary to transfer assets (both stock and cash) to/ from the client and/ or their counterparty effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Offboarding – ensuring all the information necessary to offboard a client effectively has been provided.
  • Deceased administration – ensuring that the end to end process is completed successfully.
  • MPS client administration –point of contact for all MPS client related queries and issues. Liaise with BM colleagues and third party (outsourcing) service providers as necessary to resolve any issues that may arise.

Exception management and issue resolution:

  • Working with internal colleagues and external third party (outsourcing) service providers to resolve any exceptions in respect of investment management operational processes.
  • Fund dealing – dealing with issues as they arise, liaising with BMG colleagues, Cofunds/ All funds and/ or other third-party outsourcing service providers.
  • Inter-account transfers – dealing with any issues that may arise in respect of inter-account transfer instructions.
  • QI documentation – Point of contact point at BMG, to ensure that any missing (or out of date) US tax documentation is provided in an efficient manner.
  • Working both internally with BM front office and externally with SS&C be expected to resolve any issues raised in the provision of investment management operational processes.

Skills and experience required to undertake the role:

  • Demonstrable knowledge of working across multiple investment management operational teams and processes
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and work within set SLAs Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Evidence of delivering client satisfaction both internally and externally
  • Experience of communicating effectively both verbally and written through reporting or management information, with people at any level of seniority across all functions
  • Experience of working with / across different teams with different priorities/needs including Front office / third party providers
  • Experience in first line responsibility for identifying, mitigating and escalating risks as necessary
  • Ability to understand and assimilate complex information
  • Figaro experience
