We are currently looking to hire a PM into our Product and Props business for an initial 6 month contract.

The purpose of this role is:

BM is conducting due diligence on a funds business. The intended high-level operating model is for BM to act as sponsor, distributor and investment manager for the funds with an outsourced Authorised Fund Manager (AFM). Some elements of the investment management will also be outsourced to a third party. The investors are predominantly retail with telephone and mail contact, which BM intends to largely replace with online access.

The purpose of the role is to fully define and implement the end to end operating model, coordinating the activities of multiple parties, and including the successful migration from their existing owner.

The main duties of the role:

  • Full definition of the operating model
  • Identification and co-ordination of activities of BM, outsourced AFM, other third parties including current owner to ensure successful separation of the business
  • Identification of changes required and related timelines within the BM organisation and its appointed third parties to perform effectively their role(s) within the agreed operating model
  • Implementation of the agreed operating model within the contractual timeline

Skills required to undertake the role:

  • Operating model and process design
  • Workflow analysis
  • Influencing and collaboration skills
  • Co-ordination and resolution of multiple perspectives
  • (Optional) project management
  • Knowledge of fund business operating models
  • Experience of working with third party AFMs
  • Knowledge of D2C fund distribution
  • Expertise in leading and management of project workstreams and workshops along with the outsourced AFM
  • Knowledge of management and reporting against a detailed project plan and identification of critical path activities.
